Cenlar Government Shutdown Update

Cenlar is closely monitoring the federal government shutdown and continues to be prepared for resulting impacts to homeowners, as well as servicing operations.

Making sure that homeowners receive the help they need is our first concern. We will follow standard financial hardship protocols until investors direct us to do differently. The loan code for homeowners affected by the shutdown is GSD (Government Shutdown).

To date, we have received guidance from FNMA, FHLMC, FHA and the Mortgage Partnership Finance Program (MPF). This guidance is going through our Regulatory Change Management process. We are still waiting for direction from VA and USDA.

We continue to assess the impacts to government-dependent functions, such as flood certifications, and adjust our processes accordingly.
