Client Bulletin: July 28, 2025
Digital Alerts on CenAccess
Digital alert systems are part of our everyday lives. They deliver information quickly to your phone or inbox or, in this case, CenAccess. Beginning immediately, you can find alerts on the main page of CenAccess. Alerts are sorted into three buckets: FYI (Blue), Need to Know Now (Yellow) and Urgent (Red).
You’ll see FYI alerts on a regular basis for things like client meetings, Cenlar news and updates to CenAccess. Yellow alerts are more time-sensitive or require a call-to-action. And red alerts are for critical information like disruptions to our business.
Be on the lookout for alerts in the days and weeks ahead as we begin to point more information to this system. Of course, you can continue to count on our bi-weekly Client Bulletin and the Centinel. Stay tuned for an issue of the Centinel later in Q3.
Announcing New SSO and Client Portal Landing Page for Client-Facing Applications
We are excited to announce the launch of our migration of client-facing applications to SSO with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Along with this migration, Cenlar is introducing a new client portal landing page. When clients log in to CenAccess, they’ll see a page that presents icons for various business functions instead of application names and can access tools and information in one place. Clients who currently have access to CenAccess can select “Portfolio Insights” to view dashboards and information now available to them.
Moving forward, clients soon will have access to all applications without having to re-enter any specific login/password. Once in the portal, clients will be required to use MFA for enhanced security using their mobile phone for authentication.
NLAI SSO Comes First
NLAI users not already using CenAccess should have received an additional email today (July 28) with login credentials and instructions on how to log in and utilize MFA using their mobile phones.
Clients can log into CenAccess, select NLAI, then access the application without entering a second set of credentials.
Other Applications Coming Soon
In August, we’ll be rolling out SSO for CCM. Keep an eye out in future editions of the Bulletin for information about this and subsequent SSO application rollouts and timing.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your client manager.

Your Action Needed: California Requiring Enrollment in Program to Assist Wildfire Victims
California has launched the CalAssist Mortgage Fund to provide mortgage payment relief for families whose homes were destroyed or left uninhabitable by a California disaster, such as the Los Angeles wildfires or floods.
Homeowners whose primary residence was destroyed or is uninhabitable due to a qualified disaster between Jan. 1, 2023 and Jan. 8, 2025 could be eligible for three months of mortgage payments, up to a maximum of $20,000, via grant from the State of California.
Homeowners must apply for the relief directly through CalAssist, with California paying grants directly to their selected homeowners’ mortgage servicer. Funds are limited, with applications closing once money has been exhausted.
For homeowners to be eligible, the servicer and subservicer of their home loan must opt-in to the CalAssist program. Cenlar has selected to participate, but you also must opt-in directly with CalAssist if you would like your homeowners to be eligible for this assistance.
What You Need to Do
• To participate in the CalAssist Mortgage Fund program, each client will need to submit the required registration forms with CalAssist directly.
• In order to obtain these forms, or to ask questions related to the program, please email CalAssist at servicers@calassistmortgagefund.org.
What You Need to Know
• Homeowners request assistance directly through the CalAssist Mortgage Fund. CalAssist will determine eligibility, including whether the applicant’s servicer and, if applicable, subservicer are participating in the program. Cenlar has opted-in already.
• Cenlar will manage CalAssist funds for the homeowner’s account, once received.
• While this is not a federally funded program, California is managing CalAssist through its existing HAF processing, so Cenlar will do the same. Cenlar will bill clients per prior HAF program management.
More information on the program is available on the CalAssist website .
Natural Disaster Dashboard Updates
We have made some updates on the Natural Disaster Dashboard. We are no longer utilizing ZIP codes to identify potentially impacted loans. Moving forward, we are using FIPS codes (state and county code), which aligns with how FEMA declares natural disasters.
Also, we are no longer pulling mailing address into the reporting.
The Natural Disaster Dashboard will be updated on Aug.1, 2025, and starting on Sept. 1, 2025, additional fields will be reported on the dashboard added, which include:
• INSPECTIONSRTLSRECEIVED
• LASTDATECUSTOMERREQUESTED
• LASTDATEINSPECTIONORDERED
• LASTDATEINSPECTIONSCHEDULED
• LASTDATEINSPECTIONCANCELLED
• LASTDATEINSPECTIONPERFORMED
• LASTDATERESULTSREPORTED
