Update: New Loans Interface Edits

We have recently updated our New Loans Interface (XML) requirements to include several edits.

Beginning on June 13, 2022, Cenlar has added the following new edits to loans boarded into the system: Missing PMI Primary Coverage Percent, Invalid PMI Guarantee Number and Invalid Bill Code. If the required data is missing, you will see a field displayed as a Warning.

On August 15, 2022, if the data requirements for Missing PMI Primary Coverage Percent, Invalid PMI Guarantee Number and Invalid PMI Bill Code have not been corrected and submitted properly into the system, you will receive a field displaying Reject.

Please take note of these edits as any loans submitted without the necessary data will not be accepted into the system and you will be notified is has been Rejected.

Cenlar Appoints Steven Taylor Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer

We are happy to announce that Steven Taylor, a 35-year veteran in the technology space has joined Cenlar as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Steven, who has a stellar track record of guiding IT transformation, design, deployment and integration initiatives, including multiple large-scale corporate merger and acquisition integrations, will strategically align the technology plan with the business plan as Cenlar continues to evolve.

“Steven has a wealth of experience and will be an instrumental partner to the business as we continue to further invest in multiple technologies, including automation that will streamline processes to better serve clients and their homeowners as well as our employees,” said Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Rob Lux.

Prior to joining Cenlar, Steven was President and CEO of his own consulting firm where he advised C-suite corporate leaders on the need for technology investments to drive transformative growth. He was paramount in several successful M&A transactions, providing expert consulting to leaders throughout the transitions. Before he was a consultant, Steven held multiple roles at Fidelity National Financial and Fidelity Information Services. Most recently, he was Account & Technical Delivery Executive where he delivered expert operational and technical guidance and coaching to a multidisciplinary technical team of 110+.

 

Director 7 Rollout: May 17-June 15 2022

Beginning this month, Cenlar is rolling out Director 7 (Director) the new and improved application that allows you to access MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform). This next-level version of Director moves the technology to a web-based interface. Director 7 features a modern appearance that has the familiarity of the current Director application with easier navigation that includes shortcuts, dropdowns and function key descriptions.

We are rolling out Director 7 over the next several weeks. Your client manager will email you directly with instructions on how to access Director.

 

Cenlar’s Cloud Migration: Connectivity Testing Extended to June 10

If you haven’t yet completed connectivity testing, there’s still time. Our testing window has been extended until Friday, June 10.

Please read the information below for critical instructions on both whitelisting and testing.

Whitelisting IP Address Update

If you whitelist Cenlar applications, you must update IP addresses for applications impacted by our cloud migration before June 11 when we expect to make the cut over to the new environment. 

Please remember that the URL address will remain the same although you may need to whitelist the new IP address. Whitelisting ensures your security protocols do not prevent you from accessing the migrated environments. Existing IPs should not be removed from any whitelists until Cenlar has confirmed migration of the applications.

Please reach out to your IT Security group to ensure your security protocols do not prevent you from accessing the migrated environment when it becomes available.

New IP addresses for all of our impacted applications are listed here. PLEASE NOTE: The URL below must include https:// before the address, i.e. https://gt.cenaccess.com.

Connectivity Testing through June 10

Testing will run through June 10. To confirm whitelisting is effectively complete, we strongly encourage you to participate in connectivity testing. Follow the steps below to complete testing for applications impacted by the cloud. Validation is as simple as clicking a link. Please engage your IT team for the best results. Note: This is connectivity testing only. There is no functionality testing required.

Connectivity Testing Steps

  1. Complete whitelisting as needed (see details above)
  2. For each application you use, navigate to the corresponding temporary URL provided below between May 2 and June 10, 2022
  3. Document results
    • Successful connections will return a brief message confirming that you have reached the correct temporary domain name
    • Document failure results with a screenshot and reach out to CloudMigration@Cenlar.com for technical support
  4. Report results to your client manager when you have successfully completed testing
