Introducing Xpanse: Transforming Loan Boarding with AI-Powered Efficiency

We are excited to announce that we have introduced Xpanse, an AI-powered solution that automates document-to-data validation across loan boarding. For our clients and homeowners, it supports a smoother boarding experience with fewer delays and a stronger foundation from the start.

With Xpanse, we have greater visibility into critical missing documents when boarding loans. This leads to a faster and more accurate process.

In just the first few weeks of using Xpanse, we have seen the following:

• 98.3% of documents have been successfully classified.
• 97.8% of fields have been extracted.
• We have an internal quality pass rate above 98%.

These results are a strong early indicator of what’s possible when we combine operational expertise with smart technology.

How it Works
The process begins with automated document intake where end-to-end OCR technology captures and processes loan documents efficiently. Generative AI then validates the data by classifying and extracting information from both structured and unstructured documents, with results checked against 416 validation rules to ensure accuracy and compliance.

To further enhance quality and reliability, a human-in-the-loop review process is integrated into the workflow, allowing experts to resolve exceptions and safeguard the integrity of the data.

This is not about adopting technology for its own sake. It’s about investing in capabilities that help us respond to client needs more efficiently and strengthen our trusted partnerships.

Building Trust, Delivering Results: Meet Our Client Managers

Exceptional client management is built on trust, proactive communication and a deep understanding of our partners’ business objectives. By anticipating needs and delivering consistent value, our client managers are here to help you achieve your goals while strengthening relationships.

In our mid-year client pulse survey, our client managers again received high marks. Your feedback underscores the strength of the relationships we have built with you and the value of the partnership we deliver together.

Meet Our Client Managers

Many of you may already know Stephen Andree and Jennifer Wilson, who have long been valuable members of the client management team. Earlier this year, both were promoted to director roles, reflecting their dedication, expertise and impact. In an interview with Stephen and Jennifer, we learned more about their client-first approach.

For Stephen, good client service starts with responsiveness and availability. His clients know how to reach him, and he will always find time to jump on a call as needed. While Stephen may not always know the answers immediately, he is always determined to find the best path forward.

Jennifer concurs with Stephen, noting that to understand clients’ needs, she takes ownership of their requests and remains accountable for delivering the best solutions.

Building trust with our clients is at the heart of everything our team does. Trust is earned through transparency, reliability and a shared commitment to success.

“We need to prove to our clients every day that we are working toward a common goal. I’m honest with our clients about what we’re doing on their behalf, why we’re doing it and what outcomes we’re working to achieve,” said Stephen.

That commitment to partnership is shared across the client management team, whose focus remains on delivering the best possible outcomes for clients and their homeowners.

When asked what the strongest client relationships have in common, Jennifer pointed to a foundation of collaboration and continuous improvement.

“The most successful relationships are built on true partnership and a shared commitment to finding better ways to create exceptional experiences for our clients and their homeowners,” she said.

Stephen and Jennifer exemplify the dedication and partnership mindset that define our client management team. Whether it’s responding quickly to a challenge, fostering transparency or driving continuous improvement, they are committed to helping clients succeed.

California AB 130: What It Means for Loan Servicing
Industry efforts to obtain a preliminary injunction against California AB 130 were unsuccessful. The court dismissed the industry’s constitutional challenge.

Additionally, the industry has been exploring potential legislative remedies. Several drafts of proposed legislation have been circulated, including provisions that would establish lien priority based on the first legal date rather than the loan origination date. If this legislative path is not expedited, any enacted changes would not take effect until January 1, 2027.

Given the current uncertainty, Cenlar has elected to execute the required certification whenever possible for loans that the company began subservicing within 30 days of origination. For the remaining loans, where execution of the certification is not feasible, a judicial foreclosure may be necessary, as there is currently no definitive timeline for a legislative solution.

If you have any questions, please contact your client management team.

Labor Day Observance

Cenlar will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day. Any files received on Monday, Sept. 7 will be processed the night of Tuesday, Sept. 8. Output will be available the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 9.
