Compensatory Fees

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have lifted the suspension of compensatory fee assessments in District of Columbia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, and New York. Both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have updated the foreclosure timeframes for these jurisdictions.  

Supplemental billing of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac compensatory fees assessed during the suspension period have been issued.  The deadline for appeals is 60 days from the issuance of the Fannie Mae invoice and 30 days from the Freddie Mac billing being published on Goldworks.   

Please ensure any compensatory fee invoices received from Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac are forwarded timely to CompensatoryFee@cenlar.com in order for Cenlar to review and meet the appeal deadline.
