MERS sent a notification to all of their members on August 14th regarding incorrect information in a Fannie Mae Securitization Field that had been populated in the MERS Online System by Fannie Mae, not Cenlar.  It was requested that the information in the Fannie Mae Securitization field be cleared out at that time.

We are working with MERS and Fannie Mae to identify the best solution to rectify the data in the MERS online system. We will update you on the next steps to clearing this issue as soon as we receive additional guidance from MERS and/or Fannie Mae.
