Noteworthy Items:

• A column has been added to identify the regulatory agency that issued the regulatory change.
• VA SB 870 Electronic Filing Item – Clients who have loans in counties within the State of Virginia that allow e-recording and still receive a lien release in paper format will now be charged an extra $5 processing fee.  The Virginia General Assembly has enacted legislation providing that in counties where an electronic filing system has been established, the county may charge a fee not to exceed $5 for paper filing.  See the Regulatory Compliance Change Management Summary for more detailed information on VA SB 870.
