Earlier this year, as part of ongoing process improvements, Cenlar introduced an enhancement to our boarding process designed to mitigate the risk of duplicate loans in the system.
The original intent was to add the logic to the API to identify duplicate loans as the files are processed. Because we found that this caused latency, we have recently made adjustments to help us more effectively achieve the original objective. While you will still receive an accepted status from the API, you will also receive an email notification from a Cenlar team member in lieu of a notification in the automated response.
In addition, you will receive a report if–at the end of the day–there are loans remaining that do not have an accepted status.
