Temporary Suspension of Property Insurance Defined as “Total Loss”
Cenlar will now temporarily suspend property insurance for properties that have experienced a loss defined by the insurer as a “total loss.” The temporary suspension of insurance will prevent the Lender Placed Insurance (LPI) letter cycle from starting in the event a Notice of Cancellation has been received, or the homeowner’s insurance policy expires during repairs/construction. Details are in the Hazard/Flood/Insurance Department overview in CenAccess/ Material Reference.
If you have any questions, please contact your client management team.
NACHA Operating Rules Policy Incorporated into Compliance Management System Policy
Cenlar’s NACHA Operating Rules Policy has been retired and incorporated into the CMS policy. Cenlar’s CMS Policy documents the annual risk assessment, including NACHA requirements, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
The CMS policy can be found in the Reference Materials tile in CenAccess.
If you have any questions, please contact your client management team.
