REVISED: Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac Request for Forbearance Data from all Servicers

In order to help them understand what is occurring in the marketplace, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have requested that we, as well as all other servicers, provide information on all loans we service for them on your behalf.

Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac will use this information along with the data that they receive from others in aggregate to understand the total need in the industry. Furthermore, these insights will help guide decisions on how to respond to the pandemic and better assess what options to make available to borrowers when they are coming to the end of their forbearance period and are in a better position to make their mortgage payments.

As our client, this information is your data – and we wanted to let you know that Freddie Mac & Freddie Mac is requiring that all servicers and their servicing agents provide COVID-19 information. As part of Cenlar’s duty to comply with applicable requirements and supply data as required by the respective guides, Cenlar will be providing anonymized and aggregated data to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac concerning forbearances.
