IP Whitelisting Process
In support of Cenlar’s ongoing efforts to improve our technology processes and ensure strong information security, we are announcing a change to our Client IP Whitelisting process.
Beginning January 1, 2020, we will be managing Client IP Whitelisting changes on Tuesday and Friday evenings each week. The change from daily processing will allow us to introduce more controls and enhanced testing. We expect this adjustment to minimize potential incidents and service disruptions caused by making these type of changes.
There are a number of business drivers that can impact IP addresses. If your organization is experiencing any of these changes, please engage your Technology team to determine if any changes to Whitelisted IP addresses are needed to enhance coordination between our organizations:
- Changes in Internet Service Providers (ISPs)
- Changes to vendors you work with
- Moving or adding data centers
- Moving to Cloud-based systems
- Opening or closing physical corporate locations
- Changing Technology-related vendors
